Proper choices on video materials
for digital applications, online competitions and artistic content: tips of a pro
Boglárka’s recommendation:
Balázs is one of the ballet artists who witnessed my professional growth from the beginning – and I’ve been able to watch his growth as well. He was a fascinating dancer on stage and his career-transition to film maker and video artist was also jaw dropping. He was working with multiple elite dance institutions, including the Wiener Staatsoper and the Hungarian Dance University. These days, a dancer’s visual self-representation is more and more important: not only does social media increase stress, but many companies now offer digital audtions., There are more and more online dance competitions, virtual performances and video projects in the dance industry. It can be hard to know which projects you can do yourself and when to seek a professional. You may be asking how to best present yourself and your dance on these videos? How do you know if a video-maker worth your money? You can trust Balázs’s advice on this topic. Enjoy his webinar and learn the answers to these questions and so much more.

He was one of the European external editors of Kazakhstan’s State Television for three years before starting his own company, DelbeauFilm. “The years I’ve spent as a cameraman and outside editor have been challenging. If you have 2-3 minutes in the European Parliament before the chairman arrives to set up the lights, sound and camera…. During these years I learned the job very well.
DelbeauFilm mainly produces for theaters, orchestras and clubs, but individual musicians, dancers and painters are also repeatedly customers of the company.
Their services include the production of live streams, the directing of broadcasts, but also the creation of commercials, corporate films, event and image films or trailers.
“As a former professional dancer, it has always been very important to me that my art is presented in the best possible form. This requires both film-technical know-how and expertise in the art that is filmed. This is exactly what my colleagues and I can bring to any project. ” – Balázs Delbó
